Yuen Kee Food Group has cleared its listing hearing with the Hong Kong Exchanges and Clearing, confirming the company is in the final stage of its initial public offering. The company plans to raise between HK$300 million (approximately US$38.3 million) and HK$400 million. Sources familiar with the matter indicated the listing would have kicked off in October, though they did not specify an exact date. Yuen Kee completed three funding rounds before the IPO, including backing from BA Capital, a consumer-focused investment firm that previously supported Pop Mart and Heytea. Huatai International and GF Securities act as joint sponsors for the offering. The final fund amount would depend on valuation and investor demand, with potential changes to timing or size possible. As of late May, Yuen Kee operated 4,773 outlets globally across more than 250 mainland Chinese cities.
