Hunter Biden claims $5,000 liquidity failure caused collapse of his $LAPTOP coin

Hunter Biden stated the crash of his cryptocurrency project resulted from a market maker injecting only $5,000 in liquidity against high initial demand.

Former first son Hunter Biden said his online venture collapsed due to insufficient funding. He named the digital asset $LAPTOP to reference the 2019 hard drive controversy involving him and his father, former President Joe Biden. The laptop case led to investigations into international business dealings and personal matters. Biden argued the issue started in the first 30 seconds of trading when the market maker supplied significantly less liquidity than required to handle demand. He explained the project experienced a failure because only $5,000 was added to the pool while traders sought massive volume. Consequently, four out of five early investors lost their money. One anonymous participant remained profitable with nearly $1 million. Biden described the incident as an unfortunate technical error rather than market manipulation.
