Foreign inflows to Brazilian stock market totaled R$ 10.7 billion in September

International capital returned to the Brazilian equity market in September, with net inflows reaching R$ 3.9 billion at spot prices and R$ 6.8 billion in futures contracts.

Foreign investors resumed adding capital to the Brazilian stock market in early September after withdrawing funds previously. The international return involved R$ 3.9 billion in spot segments and R$ 6.8 billion in futures contracts for the month. This represents a significant increase following the outflows recorded earlier in the month. Cumulative net inflows at spot prices reached R$ 26.9 billion by year-end so far, which remains below the R$ 69.1 billion peak seen in April. Analysts note that discounted multiples and inflation adjustments are currently repositioning domestic assets within global allocation strategies. The technology sector of the Ibovespa index is expected to benefit from these flows, alongside communication and financial segments. The U.S. technology sector continues leading global sector rankings while Brazil's foreign investment remains subject to short-term electoral volatility.
