The Boring Company Valuation Jumps to $23 Billion on UAE-Led $3 Billion Funding Round
The Boring Company secured a massive $3 billion investment led by entities in the United Arab Emirates, raising its total valuation to $23 billion.
The Boring Company raised $3 billion in Series D funding, with capital led by investors affiliated with the United Arab Emirates. This deal lifts the firm's estimated valuation to $23 billion, marking a fourfold increase since its last round in April 2022 valued at $5.675 billion. Participants included Human Capital, Vy Capital, Valor Equity Partners, Sequoia Capital, Andreessen Horowitz, Temasek, Shamal Holding, and Baron Capital. The funding supports building more than 150 kilometres of underground infrastructure across the UAE and expanding Loop systems in the United States and Dubai. In February, the UAE's Roads and Transport Authority signed a strategic partnership to implement the Dubai Loop passenger transport project. The pilot phase involves approximately 6.4 kilometres of tunneling.
