Trump pledges $5,000 dividend per American adult if Republicans win congressional majorities

President Donald Trump promised to issue a universal dividend of US$ 5,000 to every U.S. adult aged 18 and older if the Republican Party secures control of both the House and Senate in November mid-term elections.

At a party convention in Dallas, Texas, President Donald Trump declared he would distribute US$ 5,000 to each adult American over age 18 should Republicans win the majority in both chambers during the November congressional elections. He named the proposal 'The Trump Dividend.' The leader specified that recipients should not spend the funds in Canada, China, or Germany and emphasized that the administration must first win the upcoming elections to execute this financial transfer. Official statistics estimate approximately 245 million U.S. citizens meet this age criteria, implying the initiative could cost roughly US$ 1.2 trillion. Trump attributed the proposal to the nation's recent economic success and stated the goal is simply victory for his party. The President also addressed global energy markets at the event, asserting that oil prices will drop immediately after hostilities with Iran conclude. He claimed control over the Strait of Hormuz and framed current military actions as victorious progress against Tehran.
