Hot Chili identifies 398-meter copper-gold deposit at La Verde in Chile
Australian miner Hot Chili discovered a significant mineral resource at La Verde in Chile, featuring grades up to 0.91% copper equivalent over 62 meters.
Hot Chili has added a maiden resource estimate of 398 million tonnes grading 0.45% copper equivalent (CuEq) from the surface. Drilling data for the La Verde project in Chile includes a top result of 398m at 0.45% CuEq. A deeper interval of 62m returned grades of 0.91% CuEq starting from a depth of 20m in hole DKP063. Other intersections recorded 132m at 0.57% CuEq and 126m at 0.45% CuEq. Managing director Christian Easterday stated that hole DKP063 represents one of the strongest near-surface intersections drilled so far. These findings support the potential for a high-grade starter pit within the broader Costa Fuego project.
