True North Copper extends Mt Oxide trend to 2.3km; Critical Resources identifies three NZ gold targets

True North Copper has extended its mineralized system at North West Queensland's Mt Oxide project by approximately 2.3 kilometers. Separately, Critical Resources defined three new gold and antimony targets near New Zealand's Silver Peaks.

True North Copper (ASX:TNC) reported that drilling at its Mt Oxide project in North West Queensland has extended the known mineralized trend to approximately 2.3 kilometers of strike length. Drilling at the Chidna location intersected broad zones of copper mineralization within a dilational structure, interpreted by the company to be up to roughly 300 meters wide. Geological analysis suggests the system widens from about 40-60 meters at the Aquila site to nearly 300 meters at Chidna. The firm identified targets for high-grade shallow shoots under 100 meters deep and a deeper zone below 400 meters. Specific drilling results included an intersection of 52 meters averaging 0.85% copper with silver from 23 meters depth, including a 9-meter hit at 1.89% copper at 32 meters. A deeper section returned 37 meters at 0.66% copper from 108 meters. In New Zealand, Critical Resources identified three priority gold and antimony targets—Lamb Hill-Three O'Clock, Stone Burn South, and Northern Soil Anomaly—at its Silver Peaks project. The review analyzed over 1,250 historical soil and stream-sediment records within the company's 497.69-square-kilometer permit in the Otago region. These targets lie south of the Hyde-Macraes Shear Zone, which is associated with OceanaGold's Macraes gold camp holding a resource exceeding 10 million ounces. The review found no prior drilling at these new target areas.
