Forrestania Resources has finalized a major ore purchase agreement with ASX-listed First Au targeting two million tonnes over 24 months. Simultaneously, the company signed long-term supply contracts for sodium cyanide and laboratory services to support operations at its Lake Johnston and Edna May processing facilities.
Forrestania Resources has executed a significant ore purchase agreement with ASX-listed First Au to accelerate production at its Western Australian gold mining hubs. The deal allows Forrestania to process up to two million tonnes of third-party ore from the Gimlet project over a 24-month period. This arrangement includes purchasing ore in campaigns ranging from 50,000 to 150,000 tonnes at either its Lake Johnston or Edna May processing facilities. The agreement aims to provide early feed for both sites while maximizing infrastructure use. To support restart activities, the company also secured a five-year supply contract with Orica for sodium cyanide beginning in 2027. Additionally, Forrestania established a framework agreement with SGS Australia for laboratory services across its hubs. These operational agreements are designed to underpin restart activities at the company's two production centers.
