eComID acquires Nilum for €14.6 million Seed round valuation to enter recommerce
Stockholm startup eComID bought AI-second-hand seller Nilum, capitalizing on a recent €14.6 million seed funding round led by Systemiq Capital.
eComID, a Stockholm-based company, acquired Nilum, another local startup specializing in second-hand shopping using artificial intelligence. This purchase was announced following eComID's successful fundraising of €14.6 million in August 2026. The new round was led by Systemiq Capital from London and included investors Regeneration.VC, Course Corrected, Stadium, and CapitalT. Oscar Rundqvist, co-founder and CEO of eComID, stated that Nilum's technology aligns with their goal to make commerce smarter and more sustainable. He added that the team had long admired Jonas Fagerlund's technical skills and product vision. This acquisition represents eComID's first entry into the second-hand fashion market since its 2023 founding. The deal includes bringing Nilum's founder, Jonas Fagerlund, to a new role as Head of Recommerce at eComID. Fagerlund described joining the organization as a natural step to leverage their platform for broader recommerce growth.
