Sumadhura Group commits Rs 17,000 crore to real estate by 2030

Bengaluru-based Sumadhura Group plans a massive investment of Rs 17,000 crore over four financial years. The firm aims to launch 45 million square feet of projects across Bengaluru, Hyderabad, and Chennai.

Sumadhura Group, a Bengaluru-based real estate company, has announced an investment plan totaling Rs 17,000 crore. Senior official Madhusudhan G stated the spending will occur over four financial years from 2026-27 to 2029-30. Funds will support housing and commercial development alongside land acquisition. The company already owns 85 percent of the required land for planned projects.

The firm intends to launch 45 million square feet across three cities: Bengaluru, Hyderabad, and Chennai. Of this total volume, 35 million square feet is residential space, while four million square feet will be office buildings and six million square feet will serve as warehousing. Currently, the company manages ongoing projects covering one hundred million square feet.

Capital sources include internal accruals, customer advances, and approximately Rs 2,000 crore in debt. The investment targets growth in rental income from existing operations of Rs 250 crore to over Rs 1,100 crore.
