Ryanair disputes claim passenger body was sucked out of window after flight crash
US investigators are examining a broken Ryanair window, but the airline maintains no part of the injured man's body exited the aircraft.
Ryanair stated it will dispute claims that any portion of passenger Ljubisa Karović's body was sucked outside when a window shattered on its flight from Greece to Germany. The National Transportation Safety Board is leading an investigation into the incident involving a Boeing 737 and engine manufacturer GE. US officials are examining details of the event which occurred in July while the aircraft was in flight. Karović, 61, was severely injured when the window beside him broke. His lawyer asserted his head and right arm were pulled through the opening due to depressurization before he was brought back inside. Ryanair chief executive Michael O'Leary told reporters at the airline's annual meeting in Dublin that Karović was certainly sucked toward the window but did not get out. O'Leary clarified that no part of the passenger's face or body exited the window and noted the man remained belted into his seat during the accident.
