Keeta Drone restarts commercial deliveries in Dubai from Silicon Central Mall
Keeta Drone has resumed operations after gaining approval from the Dubai Civil Aviation Authority to transport food orders from its hub at Silicon Central Mall.
Keeta Drone has launched commercial drone delivery services in Dubai following regulatory clearance from the Dubai Civil Aviation Authority. The company established a fixed service line starting at Silicon Central Mall and extending to various zones within the Dubai Silicon Oasis area. Customers order food and beverages via the Keeta application, and autonomous vehicles transport eligible packages to specific collection lockers located at Rochester Institute of Technology Dubai and the Emirates Building near Foodings Cafe. Selected locations may utilize a rider-assisted delivery model for direct home handovers. This operation marks the resumption of live consumer logistics after previous routes were active under UAE drone regulations. Junwei Yang, general manager of Keeta Drone, confirmed that Dubai serves as the company's main international market expansion base. He characterized the restart as a key step toward building a scalable drone delivery network across the Middle East.
