Shiprocket Q1 net loss narrows to Rs 14 crore; emerging business revenue surges 70%

Logistics company Shiprocket reported its first post-IPO earnings with a consolidated net loss of Rs 14 crore, a reduction from the previous quarter's Rs 18 crore loss. Emerging business revenue jumped 70% year-on-year to Rs 180.4 crore.

Shares of Shiprocket drew attention on Tuesday following the release of its first earnings report after listing. The company recorded a consolidated net loss of Rs 13.7 crore for the first quarter of fiscal year 2027, down from Rs 18 crore in the corresponding period of the prior year. Operational revenue rose 34% year-on-year to Rs 592.1 crore. Adjusted EBITDA improved significantly to positive Rs 8.9 crore, compared with a loss of Rs 1 crore in the previous quarter. CEO Saahil Goel stated that these results aligned with the company's strategy of continuing investments while remaining profitable on an adjusted basis during the period.
