Grand Mercure Pinheiros charges 20% more than Hilton days

Accor launched the Grand Mercure São Paulo Pinheiros in an existing hotel, raising average daily rates by over 20% while achieving 70% occupancy.

The Accor Group has converted a property in São Paulo into a Grand Mercure hotel, significantly increasing room prices. The new establishment replaced the Hilton Garden Inn Rebouças and now charges an average daily rate exceeding $800 without breakfast. This is roughly 20% higher than the previous rates of $650 paid by guests at the former brand during that period. The property, located in a mixed-use complex on Avenida Rebouças, consists of 170 apartments along with a restaurant, bar, and gym. Despite the price hike, the hotel achieved an occupancy rate of 70% within months of opening and maintained that average for August, its second month under this brand.
