CoinDesk: OKX launches high-leverage private company trading in Europe

OKX is introducing pre-IPO tokenized stocks and ETFs to European markets, offering up to 10x leverage on private valuations alongside existing listings.

Cryptocurrency exchange OKX is expanding its European offerings with a new suite of instruments designed for pre-IPO opportunities. The firm stated it will provide tokenized stocks and exchange-traded funds alongside private company valuations that support up to 10 times leverage. This move signals growing activity in secondary markets before companies list on traditional exchanges. Analysts from XP Investimentos analyzed Brazil's telecommunications sector, noting a structural shift after the second quarter of 2026 results caused sharper declines for both Vivo and TIM stocks. The firm maintained buy recommendations for Vivo while updating its neutral rating for TIM. XP analysts cited three key drivers: NuCel's rise, regional ISPs entering mobile markets, and telecom convergence consolidation. They projected Vivo prices to reach R$ 36.50 by the end of 2027, representing a 20% potential gain, while TIM analysts expect the stock to value at R$ 22, a 13% increase.
