Metaplanet CEO denies involvement in MMXX Ventures trading decisions

Simon Gerovich states he did not decide on MMXX Ventures trades and insists Metaplanet's corporate structure remains unclear to shareholders.

Simon Gerovich, CEO of Tokyo-based Metaplanet, addressed recent controversies involving the firm but clarified his own role regarding its affiliate, MMXX Ventures. Gerovich stated that he had no part in trading decisions made by MMXX Ventures. He also indicated that the specific structure of Metaplanet's holdings and operations had not been adequately explained to its shareholders. The executive denied personal involvement in the strategic choices of the venture capital entity. Despite these clarifications, a significant group of Metaplanet shareholders expressed continued dissatisfaction. They argued that critical questions regarding the company's financial architecture and connections to MMXX Ventures remain unanswered by management.
