Officials in Western Australia searched the offices of Ideal Realty, a property firm based in Willetton, amid claims its owners purchased a client's home through undisclosed arrangements. The company received an earlier warning from the state's consumer protection department regarding a 2024 sale of the Kenwick home. Officers are now scrutinizing documents related to that deal. In 2024, Ideal Realty acted as the listing agent for Perth resident Chao "Jack" Wu. After six days on the market, Wu received three offers, with one coming from a shell company named Generation Two. Wu later discovered that this buyer was owned by two Ideal Realty licensees, Liang Li and Lin Ding. Roy Li executed the sale transaction. Wu stated he accepted the offer because he feared liability for damages if he did not proceed. Li denied misleading Wu, claiming he disclosed their identity before making the offer. Li admitted to failing to ensure a legally required written disclosure was signed by the client.
