Peregrine begins heritage survey for Mallina gold project in WA's Pilbara

Peregrine Gold is advancing its Mallina gold project in Western Australia's Pilbara region by initiating a heritage survey. The company owns the project entirely, and the current survey focuses on proposed drill locations and access routes identified through prior geophysical work. This process requires cooperation with the Wanparta Aboriginal Corporation RNTBC to ensure cultural priorities are met before excavation begins. Technical director George Merhi described the survey as a significant step toward future testing of priority targets in the Mallina Basin. Drilling at these sites is planned once heritage approval is granted by authorities. The project remains on track pending administrative clearance for infrastructure and subsurface investigation.
