Welspun Corp rallies 51% and hits 52-week high among six small-cap winners

The Sensex closed at 74,902 after rising 138 points on Thursday. During this upmove, six stocks from the BSE 250 Small-cap Index touched fresh 52-week highs. These prices represent the highest levels these stocks have traded in the past year. Welspun Corp is one of the six companies that reached new yearly peaks. On Thursday, its share price hit Rs 2,785.95 against a closing market price of Rs 2,775.65. In the last month, this stock gained about 51 percent. The other five stocks from the index also reached new highs during this period, though Welspun led the group in terms of percentage gain.
