Terra Metals identifies 2.32g/t platinum and 0.13% nickel in SW discovery
Terra Metals announced significant high-grade assays from drilling at its Southwest Discovery project in Western Australia, revealing multiple stacked platinum group metal reef layers.
Terra Metals has confirmed new drill results at its Southwest Discovery project within the Dante mine in Western Australia. The company reported three boreholes identified strong mineralization indicating potential for multiple high-grade reefs. Hole SWRD054 yielded a 210-meter interval grading 0.83g/t platinum group metals and 0.16% nickel starting at 189 meters below surface. A specific high-grade reef layer measured 20.7m at 2.32g/t PGM, 0.15% nickel, and 0.13% copper extending from 409.3 meters depth. Additional targets include a 1.3-meter zone grading 18.62g/t PGM found at 558.8 meters and a 79.8-meter interval averaging 1.30g/t with 0.21% nickel at 302 meters. Management stated that mineralization continuity within the Southwest Main Sulphide Corridor is being demonstrated through these results. Current operations are shifting focus from establishing scale to defining higher-grade reef domains ahead of a planned metal resource estimate.
