Macao and Singapore host 350 delegates for regional investment deal signings

Macau's government hosted a seminar in Singapore where over 130 business matching sessions took place, resulting in more than 80 agreements covering high technology, tourism, and modern finance.

The Macao Special Administrative Region Government held the Economic, Trade, Tourism and Investment Promotion Seminar in Singapore on August 31. More than 350 guests attended the event, including Sam Hou Fai, Chief Executive of the MSAR, and Gan Siow Huang, Minister of State for Foreign Affairs and Trade. The gathering aimed to deepen cooperation across official and non-governmental sectors. During the seminar, over 130 business matching sessions were conducted. Participants signed more than 80 agreements. These deals span key areas such as high technology, traditional Chinese medicine, conventions and exhibitions, tourism, modern finance, and industry-academia-research collaboration. Sam Hou Fai noted that Prime Minister Lawrence Wong visited China in June to coincide with the 35th anniversary of diplomatic relations between China and Singapore.
