Innovatif Media Asia Sdn. Bhd. has formally named former Governor of Penang, Tun Ahmad Fuzi Abdul Razak, as its new Strategic Advisor. The publisher plans to expand its business magazine title, The SmartInvestor, across ASEAN.
Malaysian publisher Innovatif Media Asia Sdn. Bhd. has officially welcomed Tun Ahmad Fuzi Abdul Razak as its Strategic Advisor. CT Cheah, the company's Managing Director and TSI's Managing Editor, confirmed the appointment marks a new chapter for regional growth. Tun Fuzi previously served as the 8th Governor of Penang state. He will provide insights on regional growth strategy, strategic partnerships, and institutional engagement to support The SmartInvestor's expansion across ASEAN. Currently, The SmartInvestor operates in Malaysia and Hong Kong through its magazine and website platforms. The publisher relaunched its Malaysian and Hong Kong websites recently and stated it is rolling out a China website by the first half of 2027. CT Cheah described Tun Fuzi as a seasoned leader with extensive diplomatic experience, confident that his input will strengthen The SmartInvestor's voice in the region. This initiative is viewed as a significant move for the Malaysian media publication industry.
