Top analyst raises price target to $25 for Energy Transfer

JPMorgan increased the price target for Energy Transfer stock to $25, citing robust second-quarter financial results.

JPMorgan analyst Jeremy Tonet raised his price target on Energy Transfer (ET) to $25 from $24. He maintained a buy rating on the company after its second quarter of 2026 cash distribution totaled 34 cents per common unit. This payment represents an annualized rate of $1.36 per share, generating a yield of 6.3%. Tonet noted that Energy Transfer delivered a strong beat across all key metrics in the recent period. The company adjusted its 2026 adjusted EBITDA guidance upward to $18.8 billion to $19.1 billion, moving from a previous range of $18.2 billion to $18.6 billion.
