42% of Brazilian CEOs use AI for structural change, per Deloitte's 2026 study
A new 2026 Deloitte research survey highlights a gap between AI adoption and implementation efficiency within Brazilian enterprises.
According to a 2026 Deloitte research study titled State of AI in the Enterprise, 42% of Brazilian executives state their organizations use artificial intelligence to drive structural changes. This figure exceeds the 34% global average recorded in the same report. The study interviewed 115 Brazilian executives during its fieldwork. Despite high adoption rates for initial implementation, a significant bottleneck remains regarding operational scale. Only 23% of surveyed companies reported moving at least 40% of their pilot projects into production. In 58% of these organizations, no more than 20% of the pilots reached full implementation. The research indicates that persuading firms to adopt AI is no longer the primary challenge. Instead, the core issue involves successfully scaling testing efforts to generate operational efficiency and tangible returns.
