Robinhood platform assets reach $384 billion in August 2026
Robinhood reported that its total platform assets grew 8% to $384 billion in August 2026, while funded customers increased by nearly two million year-over-year.
Robinhood Markets, Inc. (NASDAQ: HOOD) released operating data for August 2026, showing significant growth in its digital banking infrastructure. Funded customers totaled 28.6 million as of month-end, representing a roughly 1.90 million increase compared to the previous year. Total platform assets reached $384 billion at the end of August, up 8% from July and up 26% compared to August 2025. The company recorded net deposits of $4.0 billion in August, which equated to a 14% annualized growth rate against total assets for that month. Over the last twelve months, net deposits aggregated $74.1 billion, reflecting a 24% annual growth rate relative to platform assets in August 2025. Trading volumes also showed mixed results. Equity notional trading volumes hit $335 billion in August, marking an 86% jump year-over-year against July figures. Average daily volumes were $16.0 billion for the month, up 6% from the prior month's data. Conversely, options contracts traded declined by 10% compared to July, falling from a higher annual growth pace of 50%. Crypto notional trading volumes totaled $17.5 billion in August, rising 61% from July but dropping 38% year-over-year. Specifically, the Robinhood App contributed $7.4 billion in volume, up 72% from July, while partner platform Bitstamp generated $10.1 billion in volume, up 53% from July.
