UK MedTech firm Strolll raises €5 million for neurorehabilitation growth
Stafford-based startup Strolll secured €5 million in combined funding, led by IW Capital and including an Innovate UK loan.
Strolll, a software-as-a-medical-device company based in Stafford, United Kingdom, announced it has raised €5 million to expand its augmented reality neurorehabilitation business. The capital comes from two separate sources: an investment round led by IW Capital with participation from the Cleveland Clinic and Future Planet Capital Regional, and funding from Innovate UK. Innovate UK provided a €4.18 million innovation loan alongside an €813,200 Growth Catalyst Investor Partnerships award to fund specific projects. These funds support development efforts aimed at increasing patient engagement and clinical delivery capabilities.
Jorgen Ellis, the CEO and co-founder of Strolll, stated that the investment will help accelerate their mission to improve neurorehabilitation for people with neurological disorders using AR glasses in both clinic and home settings. The company was founded in 2018 and focuses on delivering digitally therapeutically proven solutions via augmented reality devices.
Strolll operates in a market it describes as growing due to increasing demand for rehabilitation access. In March 2025, the firm previously closed a €12.2 million Series A round also led by IW Capital. Current funding is intended to further support this technological approach rather than traditional methods.
