Swiss firm Jaipur Robotics secures €4.3 million in Seed funding for waste energy AI

Jaipur Robotics raised €4.3 million in a seed round led by EquityPitcher Ventures and High-Tech Gründerfonds to expand its computer vision solutions across industrial sites.

Swiss startup Jaipur Robotics announced the closure of a €4.3 million seed funding round today. The capital is intended to expand its AI operating system across additional waste-to-energy and industrial plants. EquityPitcher Ventures and High-Tech Gründerfonds (HTGF) led this round. Earlier in March 2025, the firm closed a €725k pre-seed round managed by TiVentures SA, followed later by an €161k contribution from Venture Kick. Ermes Zamboni, the company's CEO, stated the funding allows the firm to revolutionize plant operations using data-driven automation. Founded in 2024 by Zamboni and Nikhil Prakash, Jaipur Robotics develops computer vision tools for waste-to-energy facilities, cement plants, and biomass sites. The company addresses challenges such as hazardous objects like gas cylinders causing shutdowns, combustion variability due to diverse waste inputs, and a shortage of specialized operators. Its systems aim to detect oversized or dangerous items within bunkers while improving overall efficiency.
