Prudential retains No. 2 global MDRT spot with 14% rise in new qualifiers

Prudential plc maintained its No. 2 position among multinational companies in the 2026 Million Dollar Round Table rankings. The company reported a 14 per cent year-on-year increase in first-time qualifiers, specifically driven by growth in Asia and Africa. Indonesia held the top spot within its country for over ten years. Prudential secured third place globally and second place in Hong Kong. Singapore ranked first domestically for Top of Table qualifiers and achieved an 83.8 per cent retention rate. It led the 2026 MDRT Culture of Excellence Awards with twenty-nine Agency Leader winners. In Africa, Prudential remains the only insurer consistently represented in the global top one hundred. Nigeria and Ghana were both ranked number one in their respective countries. Qualifiers grew forty per cent in the Chinese mainland during the first half of 2026.
