Prasol Chemicals Ltd mobilised nearly Rs 150 crore from anchor investors ahead of its initial public offering. The company allocated 22.19 lakh equity shares at Rs 676 per share, with the total value standing at Rs 149.99 crore. Major participants included Aditya Birla Sun Life Insurance, Tata AIA Life Insurance, and various mutual funds like Edelweiss and Kotak Mahindra. Domestic mutual funds received over 45% of the total allocation through eight schemes. Prasol Chemicals is launching a Rs 500 crore book-built IPO opening September 8, 2026, and closing September 10, 2026. The issue comprises a fresh issuance worth Rs 80 crore and an offer-for-sale portion worth Rs 420 crore. Proceeds will fund debt repayment and working capital needs. In the grey market, Prasol Chemicals commands an 8% premium over the Rs 676 upper price band.
