Piracanjuba Group takes over Complem dairy assets to double milk processing capacity in Goiás

The Piracanjuba Group has agreed to purchase industrial dairy assets from the Complem cooperative, which would enable a doubling of daily milk processing volume at the Morrinhos facility.

Grupo Piracanjuba announced it will acquire management and ownership of the dairy unit operated by the Cooperativa Mista dos Produtores de Leite de Morrinhos in Morrinhos, Goiás. This transaction involves the industrial production side and the Compleite brand, while the cooperative retains responsibility for milk collection, grain operations, animal nutrition, and retail stores. Under this new arrangement, the Piracanjuba Group will exclusively manage the industrial assets, including modernization of facilities and equipment upgrades to double current processing capabilities. The unit is set to process an additional 300,000 liters of milk daily, rising from its current baseline. Production will include items under both the Compleite and Piracanjuba brands. Raw material will continue to be sourced by the complem cooperative, which manages relationships with producers and payments. The deal requires final approval from the Administrative Council for Economic Defense (Cade). Until that approval is finalized, both organizations operate independently.
