Olive Africa Acquires Full Control of Tex Styles and Vlisco Brands in Ghana
Olive Africa Partners Fashions Limited now owns the entire stake in Tex Styles Ghana Limited, including Vlisco and GTP trademarks, marking a shift from Vlisco ownership to Olive Africa's principal shareholder status.
Olive Africa Partners Fashions Limited has become the sole shareholder of Tex Styles Ghana Limited after acquiring Vlisco's complete interest in the business. The deal included the transfer of associated trademarks, specifically GTP and Woodin brands. Tex Styles Ghana Limited was originally co-founded by Mr Kofi Kwakwa and Mr John Gadzi. Olive Africa stated it intends to maintain the company's current management structure to ensure operational continuity. Chairman of Olive Africa described the transaction as a personal milestone and a strategic investment in Ghana's textile sector. He noted his childhood connection to the GTP fabric trade and expressed honor in building on the legacy of these iconic brands.
