HAL shares rise nearly 3% after GE Aerospace delivers three F404 engines in August

Hindustan Aeronautics Limited (HAL) stock gained value following the delivery of three additional F404-IN20 engines to India's Light Combat Aircraft program, a move that helps offset ongoing production delays.

Shares of defence major Hindustan Aeronautics Limited (HAL) climbed nearly 3% after US firm GE Aerospace announced the shipment of three F404-IN20 engines to HAL in August for the Light Combat Aircraft (LCA) Tejas Mk1A programme. In a release, GE Aerospace stated it remains proud of its partnership with HAL and the Indian Air Force to power indigenous fighter jets.
