CoinRabbit was named Best Crypto Lending Platform 2026 by International Business Magazine. The Toronto-based company stated its lending operation has originated more than $1.45 billion in crypto-backed loans since launching in 2020. The award recognized work, progress, and industry contribution through public nominations and jury review. CoinRabbit's core product allows customers to borrow against cryptocurrency holdings without selling them for cash. The company reported loan processing takes about 10 minutes and does not rehypothecate customer collateral. It maintains that pledged assets are not lent onward and reserves are held in full for clients.
KFH-Bahrain joined Fintech Forward 2026 as a Diamond Sponsor. The Bahrain Economic Development Board hosts the forum scheduled for October 7 and 8, which features the theme 'Finance in the Age of Intelligent Infrastructure.' Group Chief Executive Officer Dr Shadi Zahran said innovation is essential for improving banking services. KFHOnline currently offers more than 200 digital services.
Separately, a purported white hat group withdrew 3,998.5 BTC worth approximately $319 million from the Liquid Network sidechain. The transaction involved the SideSwap PAK (Peg-out Authorization Key), which Liquid Network confirmed was not compromised. Blockstream paused the network to identify the security hole and negotiate fund return.
