Apple Removed from Top International Stock Picks for September Due to Memory Costs

Analysts dropped Apple from the most recommended international stock portfolios for September because rising memory prices threaten its margins, replacing it with Micron.

Investment firms shifted their top recommendations for September away from Apple, citing the high cost of semiconductor memory as a key factor. Rising prices for the chips used in data centers created a split between companies that manufacture these components and those that require them. As a result, Micron Technology moved to the top spot in technology sectors across multiple global funds. Apple, previously ranked second, was removed from many portfolios due to the pressure on its profit margins from memory supply costs impacting its next iPhone generation. Other high-ranked stocks include Alphabet, Amazon, Exxon Mobil, Microsoft, and Nvidia. Market focus remained on infrastructure providers rather than major hardware brands like Apple or Tesla, which also disappeared from several top-tier lists.
