Saudi Arabia removed safety warnings from four southern locations on Monday, ending an emergency status that had been active due to cross-border hostilities. The Civil Defense previously issued alerts for Najran, Khamis Mushait, Jazan, and Abha to warn citizens of potential threats. These warnings were later renewed for two areas before being lifted completely as security concerns subsided for the moment. Recent strikes involved Houthi-launched projectiles hitting targets in Al-Tuwal governorate within Jazan province. One incident on Saturday injured two individuals and damaged a mosque, several buildings, and vehicles. Earlier that week, attacks on Abha, Khamis Mushait, Jazan, and Najran resulted in injuries to 73 people, including women and children. The National Early Warning Platform for Emergencies advises citizens to stay indoors and monitor official communications during active threats. Global Muslim organizations and the Gulf Cooperation Council offered solidarity with Saudi Arabia while expressing strong condemnation of the assaults on its civilian facilities.
