Critica upgrades Mt Lindsay tin resource to 19Mt under JORC standard
Asx-listed Critica has revised its Mt Lindsay project in Tasmania, reporting a total mineral resource of 19 million tonnes at 1.09% tin equivalent. The company also identified an indicated resource of 12 million tonnes ahead of a scoping study scheduled for late Q3 2026.
Asx-listed mineral explorer Critica (ASX:CRI) has updated its mineral resource assessment for the Mt Lindsay project in Tasmania, bringing it into alignment with the modern JORC 2012 standard. The revised estimate shows a total mineral resource of 19 million tonnes containing approximately 49,000 tonnes of tin and 28,000 tonnes of tungsten trioxide. The assessment includes a higher-confidence indicated category totaling 12 million tonnes, which holds about 31,000 tonnes of tin and 20,000 tonnes of tungsten trioxide. Critica describes this project as one of Australia's largest undeveloped tin-tungsten resources. Chief executive officer Jacob Deysel stated that the update offers a clear view of the scale and quality of the deposit. He noted that markets for both tin and tungsten have strengthened while strategic demand for secure Western supply chains continues to grow. Critica aims to complete a scoping study for the project by the end of Q3 2026.
