Six hundred Bitcoin moved from long-dormant wallets on Saturday, reigniting speculation about the possible connection to Bitcoin's creator. The coins originated from rewards mined across twelve blocks in March 2010. At that time, each block paid a 50 BTC subsidy. Those subsidies were later halved four times, with the most recent reduction occurring in April 2024. The total moved value is approximately $48 million based on current market prices. Whale Alert reviewed the onchain data and confirmed no connection to Satoshi Nakamoto. A spokesperson stated that researchers could not connect those specific blocks to the pseudonymous creator. This analysis expands upon earlier findings regarding seven other miner wallets.
