Super.money launches AI agents for autonomous digital gold and product purchases in India

Super.money, a payments platform backed by Flipkart, is launching artificial-intelligence agents designed to purchase products and digital gold for users automatically. These agentic systems differ from standard chatbots because they can execute actions after interpreting instructions rather than merely providing information. The company's founder and chief executive, Prakash Sikaria, stated the technology aims to reduce steps between product discovery and payment by allowing agents to represent both merchants and consumers directly. Simultaneously, the National Payments Corporation of India is developing a registry to verify and monitor AI agents conducting transactions on the Unified Payments Interface. The proposed Unified Agent Protocol will include controls such as spending limits, identity checks, and audit trails. Super.money intends to use this infrastructure to expand its services beyond routine transfer payments into commerce, credit, and investment activities.
