Copenhagen's Seed Capital closes €130 million Fund V for Nordic startups

Seed Capital finalized its fifth fund at a total size of €130 million, targeting 15 to 17 companies across the Nordic region with an initial check range of €3 million to €6 million.

Seed Capital, a Copenhagen-based investor established in December 2004, announced the closing of Fund V at a total value of €130 million. The firm intends to deploy capital into 15 to 17 companies during this round, with initial checks ranging from €3 million to €6 million. Target sectors include FinTech, cybersecurity, resilience, and AI-driven B2B services. The fund aims to back startups at Seed through Series A stages. Managing Partner Christian Brøndum stated the move represents a natural extension of their model, aiming to invest in Sweden and other Nordic countries while maintaining operational proximity to founders. Prior to this, the firm invested in entities such as Flatpay, Trustpilot, VEO, Lunar, and Templafy, noting those companies have collectively raised over $2.6 billion since inception. In addition to financial injections, Seed Capital provides assistance with business development, strategic planning, and legal matters. The fund closes Fund V today.
