State Bank of India's SBICAP Securities joined forces with Appreciate Broking IFSC. The deal allows Indian retail investors access to over 8,000 US stocks and global exchange-traded funds.
SBICAP Securities announced a strategic partnership with Appreciate Broking IFSC on Tuesday. The collaboration provides retail investors with regulated access to international assets through the GIFT City International Financial Services Centre ecosystem. Challa Sreenivasulu Setty, Chairman of State Bank of India, inaugurated the platform at the Global Fintech Fest in Mumbai.
The joint venture integrates SBICAP Securities' distribution network with Appreciate's infrastructure. This setup enables single-KYC onboarding for customers across India. Investors can now purchase shares and funds with fractional investments starting at $1.
The platform covers assets listed on the India INX GA and NSEIXGA exchanges. These exchanges are part of the IFSC Exchange Global Access Providers network. The system currently facilitates access to more than 8,000 US-listed stocks. It also includes global exchange-traded funds organized by geography, sector, and asset class.
Appreciate Broking IFSC is registered as an intermediary in Mumbai. SBICAP Securities remains a group company under State Bank of India. The agreement aims to provide a seamless experience for domestic clients seeking overseas portfolios.
