Bitcoin ETFs Outflow $449 Million as Spot Price Stabilizes Near $77,300
US spot Bitcoin funds lost $449 million over three days, reversing recent inflows, while the asset price held steady around $77,200 despite lingering bearish concerns from onchain analysts.
Bitcoin ETFs recorded net outflows of $282.6 million on Thursday, marking the largest daily decline in nearly two months and bringing the three-week selling total to $449 million. Major funds led the departure: ARK 21Shares Bitcoin ETF lost $164 million, Grayscale's Bitcoin Trust dropped $36 million, and Fidelity's FBTC lost $33.6 million. Cumulative net inflows for the period stood at $55.17 billion.
Simultaneously, spot Bitcoin prices rose 0.7% to approximately $77,200 since midnight UTC, though the CoinDesk 100 index remains down 1.4% over 24 hours. Onchain analyst Willy Woo noted that buyer activity remained muted when Bitcoin fell below $58,000 in early July. Data from HODL Waves showed only a marginal increase in coins dormant for one to seven days, reaching just 2.35% by July 5. This lack of aggressive purchasing at historic lows suggests no immediate structural shift in the current bear market.
Ether ETFs also posted net outflows of $29.8 million on Thursday, erasing previous inflows, while Solana spot ETFs saw $483,000 in net outflows.
