Bitcoin Suisse relocates up to 60 Swiss jobs to Bratislava and Vietnam
Bitcoin Suisse plans to move approximately half of its staff outside Switzerland, targeting specific lower-cost hubs in Eastern Europe and Southeast Asia.
Bitcoin Suisse intends to relocate up to 60 employees from its Swiss headquarters, which accounts for the majority of its current workforce. The company operates out of Zug and employs roughly 120 people in total, providing services such as trading, custody, staking, and lending. The restructuring focuses on back-office and administrative positions that are expected to transfer to newly established operations in Bratislava and Vietnam. CEO Andrej Majcen stated that reducing operational costs is the primary driver for this decision. He confirmed the move will not result from a downturn in the cryptocurrency market but rather serves as part of a strategy to grow a global wealth management platform. Earlier this year, Bitcoin Suisse obtained regulatory approvals in Liechtenstein and Bermuda, and its Middle East subsidiary gained full licensing in Abu Dhabi. The company continues to target institutional clients, family offices, asset managers, and high-net-worth individuals beyond its domestic market.
