Alibaba Launches AI Digital Workers on Competitor Platforms Feishu and WeCom

Alibaba Cloud launched an updated version of the QoderWake tool on Tuesday. This system enables users to generate fully functioning AI workers using a single-line description of their role. The company stated these digital employees can operate seamlessly within Alibaba's DingTalk, ByteDance's Feishu, and Tencent's WeCom. These agents automatically absorb context from shared documents, calendars, and group chats while performing tasks. QoderWake includes ten ready-to-use roles such as product manager and data analyst. These specific functions were fine-tuned using data from top industry teams. Unlike previous versions, they do not require further training to execute real-world duties. Since its initial release in April, the platform has deployed nearly 100,000 digital employees. Over the past three months, these agents executed approximately 2 million tasks across various enterprise scenarios. The launch marks a shift away from traditional "walled-garden" approaches by incorporating rival products at the application layer.
