He linked this financial commitment to a conditional pledge: if Republicans win the midterm elections. Trump asserted that the nation's incoming revenue would make the payments manageable and insisted he always keeps his promises. While Democrats cannot fund such a plan according to Trump because it would lead to economic collapse, the President believes staying in power will maintain the current economic trajectory. He emphasized trillions of dollars are coming into the country, which would cover the distribution to everybody.
